Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions and documenting patient progress in a interdisciplinary, patient-centered setting.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to comprehensive care. CPR certification and state PTA licensure are required, with ongoing professional standards maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
