Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under a Physical Therapist’s direction. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and maintain detailed progress notes in an interdisciplinary care setting.

The role emphasizes patient education, family guidance, and collaboration with the care team. Licensure and CPR certification are required or preferred, with occasional travel as noted.

Qualifications

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans developed by PTAs and PTs, including exercises and modalities.
• Observes patient responses, records progress and communicates with supervising PT.
• Documents patient status and progress for ongoing therapy.
• Educates patients and families on home exercise and safety.
• Supports therapists in evaluating patient progress and needs.
• Works with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
