Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a local contract in Salem, New Hampshire. You will implement treatment under supervision, guide therapeutic exercises, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to advance patients’ mobility and independence.

Strong communication, documentation, and patient-centered care are essential. The assignment runs through January 16, 2027, with a 36-hour guaranteed weekly schedule and a 40-hour planning basis, all on-site.

Qualifications

• NH PTA licensure or eligibility with required licensure before practice.
• Accredited PTA education and the ability to implement and document care under a physical therapist’s supervision.
• Clear communication, sound organization and a patient-centered approach.
• Readiness to complete credential, screening and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment established by the supervising physical therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities and other interventions.
• Observe patient response, document progress and communicate changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers, explain techniques clearly and collaborate with the rehabilitation team.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and practice in accordance with standards.
