Job summary

Domnovate Healthcare seeks a local Physical Therapist Assistant for an on-site Nashua, NH contract. You will implement therapy under a supervising PT, focusing on mobility and functional goals, while documenting progress and communicating changes to the supervising PT.

You will educate patients and caregivers, maintain accurate records and collaborate with the rehab team to support a coordinated plan. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• NH PTA licensure or eligibility must be completed before practice.
• Accredited PTA education and ability to implement and document care under supervision.
• Clear communication, organization, and a patient-centered approach.
• Willingness to complete credentialing and orientation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment established by the supervising physical therapist, helping patients work toward mobility and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities and other interventions within your scope and the plan of care.
• Observe each person’s response, document progress and communicate changes to the supervising physical therapist so care can be adjusted appropriately.
• Explain techniques clearly, encourage safe participation and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support a coordinated plan.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and practice in accordance with professional scope and standards.
