Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver direct rehab services under an assigned Physical Therapist in SNF settings. You will plan and follow treatment protocols, document progress, and support patients through short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities include charting, using therapy software, and maintaining a compassionate, professional approach with diverse patient populations across post-acute care scenarios.

Qualifications

• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
• One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising PT
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
