Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is hiring a PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under a licensed Physical Therapist in our skilled nursing facilities. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to support long-term care and short-term rehabilitation for a diverse patient population.

Graduate of an accredited PT program, active state licensure, and CPR certification are required. New grads are welcome to apply; benefits include 401(k), paid time off, insurance, and CEU

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in the applicable state; active license required.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; certification must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software for documentation.
• Provide excellent patient service, assist in emergency evacuations, and maintain professionalism.
