Job summary

Paradigm at Woodwind Lakes in Houston, TX seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. The role involves delivering prescribed PT treatments under PT supervision, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with care teams to optimize outcomes.

New grads are welcome. The position offers in-house rehab services and flexible scheduling within a full-time, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments.
• Provide PT interventions under supervision.
• Relay requests for service to Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision.
• Measure and record patient’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
• Attend required rehab meetings.
