Job summary

Sage Event Management Inc. is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Texas. You will support residents’ mobility, strength, and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure thorough documentation compliant with policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
