Job summary

Civita Care at Northbridge in Bridgeport, CT is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide direct patient treatments and assist with data collection and program development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments under a physician’s order and established plan of care.
• Contribute to the Rehab Program Manager and team meetings and decision making.
• Document activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.
