Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient treatment under a supervising PT. This role offers FT/PT/PRN options in a Dayton, Ohio setting, focusing on direct care and progress documentation within federal/state guidelines.

You will educate residents, families, and caregivers, assist with orthotic devices when needed, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations. Strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program is required.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment to residents as directed by and according to the plan of care outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documents resident progress towards meeting established goals.
• Teaches exercises to residents, family members, and caregivers and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
