Concept Rehab seeks PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Dayton-Cincinnati market. Locations include Dayton, Centerville, Kettering, Yellow Springs, and Waynesville.

Candidates will be assigned based on preference, scheduling availability, and geographic convenience. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling and a therapist-owned, operated environment focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on the plan of care developed by supervising PT.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, function, and independence.
• Communicate patient progress with the supervising PT, nursing staff, physicians, families, and team members.
• Complete timely treatment documentation, progress notes, and discharge-related documentation.
• Educate patients and families on restorative and maintenance programs.
• Participate in facility in-service training and educational programs.

We are currently seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Cincinnati, Ohio market.

Opportunities are available in:

• Dayton
• Centerville
• Kettering
• Yellow Springs
• Waynesville

Candidates are not expected to work at all locations. Facility assignment is based on applicant preference, scheduling availability, and geographic convenience.

This position supports a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the greater Dayton area. During the interview process, our recruiting team will discuss preferred work locations and travel expectations with each candidate.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, function, positioning, and overall quality of life
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and recommendations with the supervising Physical Therapist, nursing staff, physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical TherapistComplete timely, accurate treatment documentation, progress notes, daily billing, and discharge-related documentation
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs
• Participate in facility in-service training and educational programs
• Recommend appropriate equipment and interventions to support patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, company policies, and professional standards
• Support a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, and compassionate patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Ohio
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical problem-solving skills
