Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Dayton, Ohio market.

Facilities include Dayton, Centerville, Kettering, Yellow Springs and Waynesville, with assignments based on applicant preference and scheduling. You’ll join therapist-owned and operated teams delivering patient-centered care and flexible, location-conscious coverage across the greater Dayton area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA is required.
• Current Ohio PTA license.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA treatments per plan of care.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Communicate progress with the supervising PT and care team.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Complete timely documentation and daily billing.
• Educate patients and staff on maintenance programs.
• Participate in facility in-service training.
• Recommend equipment and interventions to support outcomes.
• Maintain licensure compliance and professional standards.

We are currently seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Dayton, Ohio market.

Candidates are not expected to work at all locations.

Facility assignment is based on applicant preference, scheduling availability, and geographic convenience.

This position supports a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the greater Dayton area. During the interview process, our recruiting team will discuss preferred work locations and travel expectations with each candidate.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, function, positioning, and overall quality of life
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and recommendations with the supervising Physical Therapist, nursing staff, physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Complete timely, accurate treatment documentation, progress notes, daily billing, and discharge-related documentation
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs
• Participate in facility in-service training and educational programs
• Recommend appropriate equipment and interventions to support patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, company policies, and professional standards
• Support a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, and compassionate patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Ohio
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity expectations
