Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment. The PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety measures.

Required education is a PTA degree from an accredited program and a current state PTA license. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Must have and maintain a current PTA licensure in the state.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques and safety precautions.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
