Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover & Lowell is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy across Everett, Malden, Revere, Somerville, Boston, Cambridge or nearby areas. You will implement treatment plans and support clients to improve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current Massachusetts license to practice as a PTA.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist.
Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician.
Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with BrightStar Care standards.
