Job summary
BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover & Lowell is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in Marlborough, Westborough, Hudson and nearby areas. The role offers per-visit pay of $70-$75 and a flexible schedule.
You will implement treatment plans, help patients with mobility and exercises, document progress, educate families, and maintain clinical records with BrightStar standards. Massachusetts PTA license and CPR/BLS are required, plus reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Massachusetts PTA license (current).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence.
- Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician.
- Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with BrightStar Care standards.
