Job summary

Salinas Valley Post-Acute in Salinas, CA is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. You will implement treatments under a PT, assist with functional training, and monitor progress per state guidelines.

Qualifications

• California PTA license required and in good standing.
• Interest in geriatric and post-acute populations with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Treatment implementation under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility techniques.
• Monitor and document resident progress per state guidelines.
• Collaborate with PT, nursing staff, and medical team on care plans.
• Educate residents and families with personalized exercise programs.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented therapy atmosphere.
