Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in PTA studies or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Provide patient education on exercise techniques, body mechanics, and self-care strategies.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic operations.
