Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join its clinical team in California. The PTA will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist's direction and maintain patient care and documentation with accuracy.

The role requires current state licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; teamwork and communication are essential as you collaborate with patients and staff in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
