Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Washington for full-time, day shifts. You will provide direct rehab under a licensed PT, with patient-centered care in SNF settings.

Required ASPT education, active state license, CPR certification, and 1 year of experience preferred; new grads welcome. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Email is expected as part of documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Current State license to practice physical therapy in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and email for clinical documentation.
• Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent clinical decisions when warranted.
• Follow laws, regulations, and Life Care standards in post-acute care.
