Flagship Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role in a Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care setting. You will provide PT assistant services under a licensed therapist, participate in patient selection, collaborate with the care team, and maintain compliant documentation.

The position requires an APTA‑accredited PTA degree and current state licensure, plus strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
