Job summary

Citrus Heights Post Acute in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatments to residents and support their functional independence.

This role offers hourly pay of $40–$45 DOE, a collaborative, patient-centered environment in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• California PTA license active and in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing/post-acute care preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Net Health and PointClickCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA-directed physical therapy treatments.
• Accurately complete all required documentation per facility, state, and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control practices.
• Participate in care plan meetings and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and restorative aides.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety.
