Autumn Lake at Long View in Manchester, MD is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide hands-on treatment for skilled nursing residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will implement the established plan of care, help residents improve strength and balance, document sessions, and collaborate with nursing and therapy colleagues.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Ability to deliver individualized treatment within an established care plan.
• Strong observation, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Skilled nursing experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Implement the PT's established plan of care through exercises and functional mobility activities.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, and endurance for their daily routines.
• Guide walking, transfers, and bed mobility practice using appropriate assistance and prescribed equipment.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques with residents and caregivers while following individual precautions.
• Monitor treatment responses and report changes in symptoms, participation, or function to the PT.
• Document sessions clearly and coordinate with nursing and therapy colleagues to support mobility between treatments.
