Ultimate Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Long View in Manchester, MD. You will support skilled nursing residents by delivering hands-on rehabilitation under the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.

Provide treatments to address mobility goals, lead exercises for strength and balance, assist with gait training and transfers, and document progress. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and document progress clearly.

Responsabilités

• Provide prescribed treatments addressing residents' mobility goals and functional limitations.
• Lead exercises to improve strength, balance and endurance within the care plan.
• Assist with gait training, transfers and bed mobility with appropriate precautions.
• Reinforce safe use of walkers and mobility devices as prescribed.
• Observe treatment tolerance and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Complete accurate treatment notes and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Long View. Support skilled nursing residents as they practice the movements needed for daily life, delivering hands-on rehabilitation under the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.

What You'll Do

• Provide prescribed treatments that address each resident's mobility goals and functional limitations.
• Lead exercises to improve strength, balance, and endurance within the established care plan.
• Assist residents with gait training, transfers, and bed mobility while following individual precautions.
• Reinforce safe techniques for using walkers and other prescribed mobility devices.
• Observe treatment tolerance and report changes in symptoms, performance, or participation to the supervising PT.
• Complete accurate treatment notes and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support consistent mobility practices.
