Job summary

Ultimate Therapy in Manchester, MD is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for Autumn Lake at Long View. You will support skilled nursing residents by providing hands-on rehabilitation under the supervising PT's plan of care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license (PTA).
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and recognize concerns requiring the PT's attention.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed treatments that address residents' mobility goals and functional limitations.
• Lead exercises to improve strength, balance, and endurance within the care plan.
• Assist residents with gait training, transfers, and bed mobility while following precautions.
• Reinforce safe techniques for using walkers and other mobility devices.
• Observe treatment tolerance and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Complete accurate treatment notes and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.
