Job summary

Building Therapy Leaders is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our Burien, WA facility. The role supports an in-house rehab program with full-time and PRN shifts, delivering rehabilitative interventions and wound care as part of a patient-centered care plan.

The PTA will conduct screening, develop care plans, and provide patient and family counseling, while adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring thorough discharge summaries at the end of services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in WA is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Stand/walk frequently; assist with patient handling and equipment as needed.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures: manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.
