Visalia Post Acute in Visalia, CA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist with resident care, participate in care planning, and support mobility and rehabilitation goals.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in PTA, an active California PTA license, and familiarity with EMR systems like Net Health or PCC. This role offers the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program required.
• CA PTA license active and in good standing.
• EMR experience with Net Health or PCC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant notes per regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment per infection control policies.
• Assist in resident mobility, transfers, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with supervising PT and interdisciplinary team regarding progress and discharge plans.
