Job summary

Rockwell Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to work under the supervision of a PT supervisor; you will provide comprehensive treatment to residents and assist PT with planning and documenting progress in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PTA program and a current NC license/registration.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Holds current license/registration in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of a PT.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab.
• Document patient's daily participation and progress with notes and co-signature by PT.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by Supervisor; participate in scheduling.

Education

BA or AS in Physical Therapy

Current NC PT license/registration
