Job summary

Rockwell Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a PTA to join a dedicated rehabilitation team. The role involves providing patient care under a supervising PT and contributing to treatment planning and documentation.

You will document progress, ensure orders are in place, and participate in interdepartmental meetings while supporting scheduling and billing for PT services. A strong team environment and quality patient care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• BA or Associate's degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Current license/registration to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of a PT following state guidelines.
• Document patient participation and progress in progress notes with PT co-signature.
• Obtain MD orders for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation per state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as needed and act as rehab delegate to the team.
• Schedule patients and assist with billing for PT services rendered.
• Cover other therapists' caseload during absences and supervise junior PTA staff or students.
