Job summary

Nursing & Rehabilitation at The Mansion in Sunbury, PA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide PRN or part-time coverage at our skilled nursing facility. You will work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Key responsibilities include delivering PT services, assisting with evaluations and care plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, educating residents and caregivers, and documenting

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with scope of practice and clinical standards.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluations and development of individualized care plans.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and mobility interventions.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress.
• Document treatment sessions and communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team.
