Job summary

H2 Health Alexandria is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team in Alexandria, KY. We welcome Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN candidates, including new graduates, with a supportive clinic environment and access to documentation tools.

You will assist Licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered care, developing and following plans of care, and guiding patients through exercises to improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current Kentucky PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• CPR certification, if applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• New graduates are welcome; outpatient experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out individualized plans of care and support patient progress
• Provide therapeutic exercise, balance, mobility, and functional interventions
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress with the supervising PT
• Educate patients on movement, recovery, and home exercise programs
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
