Job summary

H2 Health – Paris, Kentucky, seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support an outpatient rehabilitation team in Paris. This flexible role welcomes new graduates and offers collaboration across orthopedic, post-surgical, sports, neurological, and work-related rehabilitation needs.

You will provide skilled PTA services under the supervision of a licensed PT, implement individualized plans of care, guide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate patients, and document care efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must hold a Kentucky PTA license or be eligible for licensure.
• CPR certification, if applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• New graduates are welcome; outpatient experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized plans of care and support patient progress.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, balance, mobility, and functional interventions.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress with the supervising PT.
• Educate patients on movement, recovery, and home exercise programs.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
