Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and documenting progress. This role offers flexible scheduling and strong clinical support to focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Kentucky PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• CPR certification, if applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; outpatient experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized plans of care and support patient progress.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance, mobility, and functional interventions.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress with the supervising PT.
• Educate patients on recovery, movement, and home exercise programs.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
