Cynergy Rehab Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support adults in outpatient, community-based settings under a supervising PT. The role emphasizes functional movement, safety, and independence, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules in a supportive team.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, leading mobility and gait activities, documenting promptly, and ensuring safe use of walkers, wheelchairs, and orthotics.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT, focusing on strength, balance, endurance, mobility.
• Lead or assist with functional movement activities such as sit-to-stand transfers and gait training.
• Support participants in maintaining safe mobility and independence during daily activities.
• Monitor and assist with adaptive equipment to ensure safety and proper use.
• Engage participants in motivating, functional exercises that promote participation and enjoyment.
• Observe and report changes in function or medical status to the supervising PT and care team.
• Complete electronic documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
