The responsibilities include following physician orders, providing treatment to maximize function, maintaining accurate resident records, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common medical information.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Follow physicians' orders and assist the PT under supervision.
• Provide treatment to maintain or attain the highest function possible.
• Maintain timely and accurate resident reports per regulations.
• Observe infection control and safety policies.
• Collaborate with residents, families, staff and other providers.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings as required.
