Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in West Virginia or eligibility through licensure requirements.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Accurately document resident evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
• Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving overall function.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care.
• Follow all applicable state and federal regulations governing therapy services.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
• Promote resident safety, independence, and quality of life through individualized treatment plans.
