Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers in Ohio seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement physical therapy programs and provide treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to support residents in increasing independence and function.

Responsibilities include following treatment plans, assisting with tests, organizing groups, instructing residents and families, maintaining documentation, and participating in care meetings in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed as required by the State.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident's individualized treatment plan under the PT.
• Provides individualized PT treatments including modalities and exercises.
• Acts as an assistant during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups with the PT.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in PT techniques.
• Maintains documentation for all residents treated.
• Attends care meetings as a PT representative.
• Cleans and maintains equipment; reports needed repairs.
• Ensures high-quality service in a compassionate atmosphere.
