Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement and supervise therapy programs under a Licensed Physical Therapist. The role emphasizes resident-focused treatments, documentation, and collaboration with the rehab team.

Hourly wage ranges from $28 to $33, with Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem opportunities in the Ohio area. Benefits include health and retirement options as part of a comprehensive rehab services team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan as defined by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Provides individualized physical therapy treatments including modalities and exercises.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups in consultation with the physical therapist.
• Instructs residents, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Maintains appropriate and timely resident documentation for all residents treated.
