The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work with Physical Therapists to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and a focus on resident-centered care in a welcoming, safe environment. Must hold an active Florida PTA license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents
• Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises as directed
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
