The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to help residents improve mobility, strength, independence, and quality of life.

Formación

• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents.
• Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises.
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises as directed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
