Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work with Physical Therapists to provide therapy services that improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life for residents.

This opportunity supports resident-centered care in a collaborative environment, with full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents.
• Monitor progress and report changes to supervising PT.
• Document treatments and resident responses per guidelines.
• Assist with gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening exercises.
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals.
• Educate residents and families on therapy programs as directed.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
