Job summary

Muir Home Health in Benicia, CA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. You will deliver skilled PT services under the supervision of a physical therapist and according to the physician's plan of care.

The ideal candidate has a California PTA license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of PTA experience, preferably in home health, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• California PTA license is required.
• 1+ years of PTA experience, home health preferred.
• Driver's license with insured vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy per the PT's directions and plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
• Instruct patients in use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Maintain records and participate in team meetings and in-service education.
