Job summary

Our Client in Mount Olive, NC seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a direct-hire team. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist and support mobility and daily living goals in a rural care setting with a mix of short-stay rehab and long-term care.

This on-site role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Licensure in North Carolina, accredited PTA education, and strong clinical reasoning are required.

Qualifications

• North Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant licensure or eligibility.
• Accredited PTA education and clinical qualifications.
• Sound clinical reasoning and patient-centered communication.
• Ability to implement and document care under a PT supervision.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment established by supervising PT and support mobility and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities.
• Observe responses, document progress, and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Explain techniques clearly and help patients and caregivers participate safely.
• Collaborate with rehab and care team to connect goals with daily activities.
• Document interventions and progress promptly; follow safety standards.
