Job summary

PruittHealth - Durham is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help patients improve mobility and independence. You will deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.

This full-time role offers compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule and location, and includes comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus up to $8,000, annual merits, paid

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
