Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Edenton, North Carolina seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a caring team. You will provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist, contributing to assessments, documentation, and patient progress in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy, maintain state licensure, and collaborate closely with therapists, staff, patients, and families

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state.

Responsabilidades

• Providing treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT.
• Assisting with patient evaluations and assessments.
• Documenting patient progress and participation.
• Obtaining MD orders and ensuring accurate billing.
• Participating in facility and rehab meetings.
• Supervising junior PTA staff members or students.
• Maintaining professional relationships with co-workers, patients, and families.
