Job summary

Baylor Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the rehabilitation team under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will assess patients, implement therapy plans, and help restore function.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required and eligible for licensure.
• Experience preferred but not required (<1 year).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers PT interventions as directed by the PT.
• Instructs patients and assists with mobility, transfers, and gait.
• Develops and documents home exercise programs.
• Documents patient progress and communicates with PT.
• Supervises aides and students per guidelines.
