Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required for PTA licensure/registration.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy interventions as planned by the PT.
• Instructs and assists patients; monitors progress and status.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, and gait; uses modalities correctly.
• Maintains safety and documents treatment and progress accurately.
• Communicates with PT regarding patient progress and goals.
• Supervises aides and students; adheres to PT Practice Act guidelines.
