Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy interventions as planned by the PT.
• Instructs and assists patients; monitors progress and effectiveness.
• Assists with patient mobility, transfers, and gait.
• Adheres to safety practices and patient guarding.
• Escorts patients to treatment area and prepares for treatment.
• Develops and documents home exercise programs and progress.
• Communicates progress to PT and modifies goals as needed.
• Submits accurate charges in a timely manner.
• Supervises PT aides and students as assigned.
