Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation in West Lafayette, IN seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care under licensed PT supervision. You will assist assessments, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and document care per hospital standards.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential in this on-site role. Educating patients and families on home programs, equipment use, and safety will be part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana PTA license or eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Demonstrated skills in therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and safe patient handling.
• Ability to document clinical care and follow established treatment plans and protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professional judgment.
• CPR/BLS certification current or obtainable within defined timeframe.
• Experience in acute care, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings is beneficial but not required.
