Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, learning, and community activities.

Shifts available: Saturday and Sunday 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM. Starting wage is $15 per hour with tenure pay scale, annual bonus, and health, life, and retirement benefits in a person-centered home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Assist with medication administration and community involvement.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans with clinical staff.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone's life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
