Job summary

Easter Seals TN in Selmer is looking for compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in their daily activities. Responsibilities include meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance, and medication administration, along with facilitating community involvement.

The position offers a starting rate of $15 per hour, tenure pay scale, bonus opportunities, and health insurance. Ideal candidates should be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and possess basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone’s life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
